Calling all dog lovers - River Island is now selling clothes for your pooches

HAVE YOU EVER been out shopping on the high street and thought “This is great and all, but I wish I could get clothes for my dog here, too?”

Yeah, us neither – but River Island sees a gap in the market, and has launched a new range of doggie clothes.

The RI Dog collection features eight pieces that range in price from £10 to £18 (Euro prices TBC).

It includes a bomber jacket, in keeping with this season’s trends for humans, as well as hoodies and woolly jumpers.

The company previewed the range on their Snapchat a few weeks ago, and people were immediately checking their calendars to ensure it wasn’t April Fool’s Day:

According to Glamour, the collection will be on sale in certain River Island stores and on the website.

Whether your dog will still love you after you force it into a slogan t-shirt is up to the animal itself.
